i hate it when things don't work out according to plan. because when i plan, i plan in great detail. i like it. it gives me a sense of control (don't start with the labels now, that's not nice) and it just reassures me that everything will be okay, because i have a plan. looking at the (13) sheets of rough paper on my worktable i realise now that i like lists. any kinds of lists. to-do lists, quotation lists, schedule lists, pros & cons lists etc. gimmie lists. gimmie confirmed timings. gimmie ORDER, DAMNIT!
yes i am anal. and i hate when things don't go according to plan. especially when i've put a lot of thought into it, and the thing-that-didn't-go-according-to-plan is not my fault and is sth i can't help.
gah. emo to the max. *exhale* okay, moving on.
i haven't done much work these two weeks (13 sheets of rough paper full of lists!) because, well, because i've been planning. hehe. somebody's big day is today (happy birthday darling!) and clearly, i'm heaps more excited than he is.
i love birthdays - not because of the crazy, elaborate (and oftentimes drunken) parties that are usually involved with birthdays, but because its an excuse for good friends to come together and have fun (and drink obscene amounts of alcohol).
ok i know. i'll let go and let the plans just... fall into place. yes, plans, you better work yourselves out, because i am not going to plan anymore, and because... well, actual paid work is really piling up. eek.
besides TheBoyfriend, other july birthday babies include mummy (her second of the year, long story) and joanas my dear lawyer friend, who's currently in Bangkok (again) as a birthday present. happy birthdayyyy my dears!
stupid NS. if not for NS i also bring you overseas!
*broke*
