blogging from the airport

i'm still in Singapore, but have already begun to feel like its China. thats most probably due to the large, large China-Chinese (as opposed to Singaporean-Chinese) tour group that's on board my flight.

they're loud.

there are just some things in life i don't understand. one of which is how people can be loud this early in the morning. (others include how people can wake up and go running at 6am, or not walk into a store with a huge "sale" sign.)

because of a very enthusiastic (read: maniac) taxi driver, i got to the airport earlier than expected. "good," i thought. "i'm probably the first in queue, and am gonna get a good seat."

WRONG. by the time i get to the belt number i can't see it because there's a HUGE crowd of China-Chinese people all huddled at the yet unopened belt, looking like they're at a start line rushing to get in. i don't see whats the rush especially since they've all PRE-BLOODY-BOOKED their seats, leaving me with neither window nor emergency exit seats.

and now they're just loud. loud. i can't understand it.

helpch. its gonnabe a long flight.
