i woke up yesterday missing my friends,so i rolled over, reached for my phone and texted everyone for dinner on tuesday.
imagine how happy i was when nearly everyone replied immediately with a yes!
and then xinwei called saying she had convinced mel to go to work on sunday instead and that we could go out in the afternoon.
so we did! and did lazy languid saturday afternoon-y things i havent done with friends since uni. how wonderful. so wonderful that i bought two pairs of shoes from x:odus, (they were on sale) and had coffee. sitting down having coffee in the afternoon. now that i havent done in longer than i liked.
and then it was weird flashback-evening with dennis. we ate at the same restaurant, sitting at the same seat where we had one ridiculous fight almost a year ago (one year!) and then watched broken flowers in a theatre that held a different, somewhat funnier memory.
and to end the day on just the right note, i came home, turned on my computer to find that my dear MIA-ed banu had finally replied my email.
ah. what a great saturday. am looking forward to tuesday! where shall we have dinner? we just have to do dessert/drinks at holland so its easier for jo, who ends school at like 9pm, the poor girl.
