it was jacqueen (yes, i have forgotten how to spell her real name)'s birthday on sunday and we had a great time partying on saturday night :)
because we were just next door, we thought of arriving "fashionably late" for the fashion show... only to stand in the rain in a mother of a queue, and STILL missing the bobbi brown doorgift (dangit). then we went inside to see only the heads of the models on the runway, and when we did see the clothes, they were less-than-glam.
but what made us leave within a half hour of arrival mustve been the lousy screwdrivers we were entitled.
"could we have another shot of vodka in our screwdrivers?" pleaded laine sweetly.
we're not alkies, i promise. :P
then its off to MOS where gracie and irene joined us. plenty of non-drunken but rather red-faced photos of us in the queue (there was nothing else to do) and then some more (slightly more tipsy ones) while we were inside. music was great, company was greater :)
intoduced some LIT-virgins to LIT hell. haha. elaine and i cleverly only sipped at it, restricting ourselves this time :P but it was all good. only one jug and quite a few of us, so, not much harm done. plus it wasn't as potent as you-know-where... tastes slightly better, too!
altho, i did hear a couple of "wow, i'm feeling woozy" tho. yup. been there, puked that. :P
all in all a great saturday. pictures up as soon as i get off my lazy butt and upload them!
