if you go for a job interview for a spot at PR and events, is it a bad sign that the interviewer (who happens to be the managing director of the company)starts talking to you about existentialism? maybe i should've faked it and said i know nothing about it and thus seem more optimisic/outgoing that the job required

it IS a bad sign i know, if the same interviewer sees that you've taken french before and since he's a frenchman decides to very excitedly ask you a question in french, only to be met by a gaping mouth and a look of TOTAL confusion. *buries head in hands* i'm sure he decided i was just faking it on my resume. needless to say, the interview ended VERY shortly after that.

of course, NOW i'm able to think of allllll the smart and witty things i could have said in response to him IN FRENCH. now. only now.
