I have a little Monday morning problem – The totally unintentional drinking session on Saturday night led to quite a bad tummy (or, as TheBestFriend once called it, booze-poos) all of Sunday.

Now its Monday morning and I can’t believe my stomach is still gurgling like simmering beef goulash on low heat (potent stuff, those sneaky buggers at number 5), making me feel like I’m going to have the runs any minute (working in a shophouse has trained my bowel-movements somewhat, but that’s another story altogether).

Long story short is that its Monday morning, and I need my requisite 3 (or more) cups of coffee. Need. However, as many know, coffee has that sneaky and slightly annoying laxative effect when taken in large doses.

This is a funny conundrum – Am I sleepy enough to have another cuppa and run over to the next building to poop (running the risk of getting frowned at for taking a long time out of the office and/or not getting to the toilet on time), or shall I spare a thought for my bowels, forego that cup of coffee and run the risk of cracking my head open when I fall asleep and it comes into contact with my table?

Decisions, decisions.
