TheEditor was super nice and gave me the DVD box set of Gilmore Girls season 1 for Christmas and i haven't been able to stop watching it since! do you remember when Rory first met Dean? when she accidentally spent the night with him at Ms Patty's and got into trouble? the first time Lorelai and Luke exchanged meaningful glances? i completely forgot what a bitch Paris was in the beginning and oh who could forget the way Rory and Dean got together. :)
ah. those who don't follow Gilmore won't understand. we grew up with Rory. we shared the same problems. we loved dean and later were torn between him and jess. we wished we had motor-mouths like her and her mom Lorelai. we laughed. we cried. we wailed, and everytime it came to the end of the season, we felt as if the world ended.
(or was that all just me?)
in any case, who's up for borrowing it first? or i'm up for gathering one night for a Gilmore marathon. we could possibly do Grey's/SATC too, with loads of Ben & Jerry's and Lays (I'm trying the drink less thing out this year).
