"you're quite a secretive person," said a workmate. "i bet you'd go as far as to remove your name from your blog, write nothing substantial, if at all, on your 'about me' section of your friendster, and make sure nothing comes up when people google your name."

it's freaky. i checked my friendster account and true enough, under 'about me' i wrote something along the lines of "i hate 'about me' sections". then i checked my (very sad) facebook account and realised i left the 'about me' section blank as well.

"not true." defiance is my middle name. "if you google me, you'll find articles i wrote for my ex-company," i said, ignoring everything else that she got right.

"yea, but it's not as if you can help that, can you?"

i guess not.
