i will have had 7 working days "of rest" between putting one issue to bed and leaving for another cover story in Beijing. as Shopaholic Girlfriend says, "not bad what! your low-paying job lets you fly all over the world!"
well, yes, i suppose she's right, and i shouldn't be quite so unappreciative.
(just wish i could still make the bkk trip! oh, and the LA one, which the editor has dibs on. bah.)
be back saturday! this time i'm really near tiananmen square, so at least SOME sightseeing is in order. :)
