who has the right to ask who the other person is on the phone? as you've probably guessed, i've encountered a phonecall that was quite... bizzare.

me: hello?
unknown female voice: hello? did you call me?
me: [slightly thrown off] uh, no...
her: you didn't call me? who is this?
me: [?!?!] who is THIS?
her: no no, you called me just now. i'm just returning the call.
me: yea...so who is this?
her: you called me!! you called my handphone!! who is this??
me: [exasperated] ok i don't think i called you. i just got home.
her: are you sure?? okay, so who is this?
me: [gives up] angeline. who is this??
her: Ida. do you know me? because i think i don't know you.
me: yea, i think you got the wrong number.

GAH!!!
