heh thanks to all who tried to help with my laptop problem. i realise i probably shouldn't have sent a cry for help online [at the time seemed the best idea alright] cuz as you guys probably noticed, it was uh, ahem, fairly simple to solve. yeah i KNOW i'm a computer idiot, alright? Anyway, whoever anonymous is, *puts on best impersonation of Sam* tell leh, dun shy lah... only my blog what, you shy for what? come lah... dun shy lah....
oh oh! update update: Len's finally free of the shackles of the damned army and a free [albeit income-less] man!! time for me to step down from my presidential post of the 'girlfriends-i-hate-the-army-club'. hang in there girls, no time, no time at all. ;)
Anyhoo went for a school alumni gathering thingy on saturday, where the AGM sucked, the turnout sucked, and the food was a record breaking SUCK, but meeting everyone again felt so good. familiar faces some in different bodies, some people looking tremendously better after meeting Mr Brush or Mr Gel and Topshop, some of them seemed not to have changed even one bit. but all in all, i'm so glad everyone's just about the same. we all seemed to be really happy to see each other again, and there weren't stupid awkward silences or the like. pretty much everything stayed the same, the same groups of people sticking together, sciences with the sciences, arts with the arts. Even tho it was in the new campus which nobody was familiar with, it was still pretty ok. [cept our dear kwek had to give his speech AGAIN, and this time i was so so sway to be sitting right infront so i couldn't roll my eyes ugh]. even the band stayed the same!!
yes as you can see, i do miss the times in pj... those were the worst, and yet one of the best times of my life, ranking right up there with the time i went to UK with crescent and right now with Len. *sigh*
OH OH but one thing to be happy about: I'M FREE OF THE ALUMNI EXCO. ooooooh yeah baby, no more burned saturdays planning events and other 'sai kang' [or shit work if you'd like].
i guess as life goes on, and more shit happens, remembering these times in quiet moments would probably help to keep my sanity in check. thanks to all who have helped create these precious memories, you guys all rock [even you guys i met in uni, i don't know what i'd do without you]. i love you guys to bits, and thanks fer giving me awesome stories to tell the grandkids. *hugz*
